Years of development and user insights have resulted in an effortless customer UX experience, with as little as 6 clicks (interactions) between homepage and checkout. Stok has been developed to ensure the customer journey is efficient and intuitive, and giving the customer as many customisation options as possible without becoming overwhelming. The customer journey and UX can be customised to suit any application, as well as the UI being fully suited to any brand identity.
Stok is flexible to suit your needs - you may own a shop with your own products you wish to sell online, or you may be a group representing many different retailers or manufacturers, such as a local retail consortium, a business improvement district, a wholesaler offering direct-to-consumer (DTC) products, an importer, or simply a group of likeminded individuals.
Stok can be configured to list your products individually to allow customers to add to their baskets, groups of your products called ‘boxes’ which the customer can customise. Or you can list separate vendors and their products. The beauty of Stok is that no matter how many vendors or products are listed, the customer only makes one single payment and our payment processing system splits the transaction to deduct commission fees and delivery charges, then send the relevant amount to each vendor automatically and instantly. Each vendor can also have their own commission rate!
Stok doesn’t piggyback on other platforms of software - you don’t need to have an existing website, or a subscription with any other platform; Stok will be your website and ecommerce marketplace solution in one!
Stock doesn’t require a Shopify or Wordpress subscription to run - it’s totally independent and standalone software.
Products can be listed individually like many ecommerce shops, but it also supports ‘boxes’ - groups or collections of products. Think fruit & veg boxes in a single delivery, or household cleaning products for the month. The beauty of Stok is that an almost limitless number of customisation options can be offered to the customer before adding to their basket - the limit is how many products you can offer!
If you have a group of products you wish to sell, baby supplies for example, the products in the box can be listed and a retail purchase price shown. Customers can then choose to customise this box if they wish, were you can offer alternatives or add higher quantities. For example if the standard brand of nappies in a baby supply box is Pampers you might be able to offer Huggies as an alternative. Huggies are slightly more expensive? Not a problem, just enter the surcharge for that brand and if the customer chooses that option the surcharge is added to the total box price and displayed in realtime to the customer. Does the baby box come with one bottle of shampoo as standard, but some customers want two bottles per box? Again not a problem! The customer can choose ‘Shampoo x2’ as an alternative option and the surcharge is again added to the total in realtime.

One of Stok’s most powerful features is it’s subscription option. The benefits of subscription based buying to the customer and vendor have been illustrated by the likes of Hello Fresh, Gousto and Amazon, and now this can be offered to small independent retailers through Stok. Whether it’s a weekly fruit & veg box, monthly cleaning products, or fortnightly pet food and supplies, Stok has the ability to make any product or box available on any regular schedule that suits you or your retailers. The powerful customer dashboard also allows customers to pause subscriptions for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks, or cancel subscriptions indefinitely.
Stok’s ecommerce system also features inbuilt logistics capabilities with all customers and live orders visible in the logistics dashboard, enabling operations overview and managing of delivery drivers.
Stok’s API works seamlessly with CRM platforms such as Active Campaign, to allow a first class retail experience from the very first contact, nurturing of the customer, right through to a fully documented CRM account - this gives deep insights into customer spending habits over time, email and message open rates, offers of interest, and purchase history to ensure efficient enquiry and complaint handling.
Stok integrates seamlessly with the Stripe payment gateway, supporting all major payment methods whether it’s credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal.
One of the major objections to multi vendor marketplaces is the inability to checkout with one payment - we have solved this by allowing a single customer payment to be sent to multiple vendors simultaneously, and automatically, after any sales commission and delivery fees have been deducted. Using the Stripe payment gateway vendors have funds deposited into their Stripe account immediately, usually before goods even leave their premises!
Stok & Stripe’s seamless integration allows customer payments to be split and vendors to be paid automatically and immediately, with no additional input from the marketplace operator - ensuring a true frictionless payment system.
Other marketplaces delay payment forwarding to their vendors. At Stok we believe vendors should be paid when products leave their premises. As such we have built the Stok payment system the fully leverage Stripe’s powerful split payment processing to ensure vendors are paid immediately and are not out of pocket.
Have full oversight of orders via email which are also logged within a CRM system for easy customer enquiry handling and complaint resolution. Order updates can also be sent to customers via Whatsapp.
